This presentation positions Digital Resilience on NonStop Infrastructure using the NIST Cyber Security Framework. It explains how this enables us to do a high-level gap analysis process and develop a plan for the future.


We will also discuss compliance and how it maps to the NIST framework, primarily using the Digital Operations Resilience Act, DORA, in the European Union but mentioning other global compliance practices.


This presentation was developed between HPE, vendors, and, crucially, customers’ feedback.

NonStop SQL/MX Database Services (DBS) was designed to give the user a cloud experience. Its capabilities include rapid database deployment, resource sharing, and isolation between databases, providing confidentiality and security.

TBC24.TB21 | NonStop Manageability Plugins for TS/MP (NSMPT) to build/manage a NonStop Middleware Elasticity Framework (NSMEF) instanceSpeaker: TBA

NSMEF provides a process management framework similar to what TS/MP provides for classic Pathway applications for starting and stopping dynamic resources (servers) as the workload fluctuates. NonStop Manageability Plugins for TS/MP (NSMPT) simplify the deployment of an NSMEF instance. This talk will review NSMEF and demonstrate the use of NSMPT to configure and deploy an NSMEF instance

Protecting sensitive data has many challenges as it’s sent around your corporate network and across the internet. Some of the challenges include:

  • Moving critical applications and data to the cloud, which can mean corporate data being sent over public infrastructure
  • Certificate handling and secrecy
  • Private key management

This session aims to discuss the latest encryption technologies and best practices to keep your data and communications secure. The scope will include (but not be limited to) TLS 1.3—the latest important info—crypto algorithms (including key exchange, symmetric encryption, and secure message authentication)—algorithms and protocols to avoid—quantum-safe encryption.
