Automation on HPE Nonstop using open enterprise tools

HPE Nonstop environments are evolving, and so are the expectations around how they are managed. This session provides a technical look at how modern automation frameworks—Ansible and Jenkins—can be integrated with Nonstop to streamline operational tasks that have traditionally required manual intervention. We’ll examine how common activities such as adding disks, starting or monitoring processes, provisioning devices or subsystem objects can be expressed as automated workflows. The session highlights how workflows can be orchestrated through Jenkins and surfaced as intuitive, GUI based interactions using Ansible Forms, enabling teams to trigger complex Nonstop operations safely and consistently. This session focuses on architecture and real world examples that demonstrate what’s possible when Nonstop is integrated into a modern automation ecosystem. Attendees will gain a clear understanding of how these tools fit together, how automation reduces operational risk, and how GUI driven interfaces can make Nonstop automation accessible beyond the core team.
